In a distance of  30 Km  west side of Denpasar town and about 11 Km in south side of Tabanan town, you just need about one hour in normal traffic condition from Denpasar. The temple is built on the rock with 3 acre size and reachable in a few minute by walk, because it is just 20 meters from the coastal lip. Visiting this temple without seeing the  view of sunset will not be a complete visit to Tanah Lot. Even some tourists who failed to see such beautiful moment say that they will come to Tanah Lot again on other days.
