Indonesia made a history again on the
performance of Tournament of Roses in
the Pasadena, California, USA. Parade followed by 41 floats from various
agencies in the states of the United States and several countries in the world
has chosen Indonesia as a champion. Being
the winner of this achievement,
Indonesia has defended the title won in the previous year.
The parade's spectacular 41 floral floats estimated to be wathched by at some 700,000 spectators lining the 5-mile route.
In 2012 Indonesia Indonesia got The President's Trophy as the award for
non-commercial participants using the effective interest rate on their float.
Actually Indonesia's participation in the Tournament of Roses in Pasadena in 2013 is the second appearance
after a 16 year absence participate in these event. Since 1996, for some reason
Indonesia has not been attended for this
tournament. President's Trophy is the highest achievement that can be obtained
Indonesia for noncommercial category.
At the annual event, Indonesia displays two floats are a
small float featuring effigies and gamelan attractions in Central Java, as well
as large vehicles which display a puppet show in the form of Krishna, Arjuna,
and Gatot Kaca, the famous characters in puppet show.
